RTMP specification to be published
This is great news for all the tool vendors and product vendors that have wanted to support RTMP in their product and could not in the past. Adobe today announced publishing the RTMP specification in first half of 2009. I am curious to hear what you think of this announcement and how this can help you. Feel free to contact me (anilc@adobe.com) if you are looking to extend RTMP support in your product in conjunction with Blaze DS or LC DS.
Also note, this has no impact to Blaze DS or LC DS roadmap at this time.

Same question : when Adobe released the amf format in early 2008 , at the same time, Adobe provided BlazeDS as a reference implementation. As your last note suggest, there’s no official implementation of rtmp in BlazeDS or may be in another opensource product planned ?

I see that you all want RTMP in Blaze DS
RTMP implementation only exists in LCDS and not in Blaze DS. Sorry to disappoint to you all, there are no plans to move RTMP from LC DS to Blaze DS
